What Is This?
A virtual stock market where you trade Steam game stocks using FlopCoins (FC) - fake currency, no real money involved. Predict which games will gain or lose players and profit from your calls.
Getting Started
- ▶Every new trader gets 10,000 FC to start
- ▶Browse the market, pick games you know, make trades
- ▶Goal: grow your portfolio by predicting which games will rise or fall
How Prices Work
- ▶Every game starts at 100.00 FC
- ▶Prices update every hour based on real Steam player counts
- ▶More players than usual for that time of day = price goes up
- ▶Fewer players than usual = price goes down
- ▶Max price change: 5% per hour
TIP: Prices compare to the same hour from previous days. A game that always peaks at 8PM won't spike just because it's evening - it needs to beat its own record for that hour.
Trading Actions
Purchase shares. Profit when price rises.
Sell shares you own. Cash out your position.
Bet against a game. Profit when price drops.
Close your short position. Lock in profit or loss.
Rules & Limits
You cannot hold both Long and Short positions on the same game. Close one before opening the other.
Going Broke?
If your total portfolio value drops below 100 FC and you have no open positions, you'll be automatically reset to 1,000 FC. Dust yourself off and try again.
